This free event is open to the public and will provide local communities in the Columbia area access to free drive-up testing and essential supplies to help lessen the risk of exposure to COVID-19.

• You do not need a doctor's order/note to get tested
• No one will be turned away
• Please bring your ID

Ride Service Available!

The COMET is offering free dial-a-ride service to persons in need of transportation assistance to attend the FREE COVID-19 Testing Event on Friday, January 19th and Saturday, June 20th 10am-3pm. The event will be held at Benedict College’s Charles W. Johnson Stadium.

The COMET will provide this service, based on scheduling availability, on a first-come-first-served basis. Interested riders are asked to call The COMET advanced reservations line at 803.255.7124 at least 30 minutes in advance to schedule this service. The COMET will pick you up to take you to the testing site and back home if you are within a 10-mile radius of the Benedict College stadium.
