Who We Are
Camp Burnt Gin is an overnight summer camp in Sumter County for children, teens, and young adults with physical disabilities and chronic illnesses. The camp, operated by SC DHEC, is a program within the Division of Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN).
Our Mission
Camp Burnt Gin’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for children, youth, and young adults with disabilities and chronic illness by providing a camp experience designed to improve self-esteem, independence, and skills necessary to develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
